A station murder probe uncovers a deeper conspiracy and ends with a lucrative payout
Word on Prospero’s Dream is that the TV troubles at Station 11—the Goose weren’t random, but paid-for and scheduled, and that the wrong worker’s name kept turning up in people’s mouths like a delay in the oxygen. Folks whisper that Harley Steele was “taken” by the Resistance side of things, yet somehow the missing recordings point toward a wider plan—an empty section, a “drill,” and conversations no one admits they’ve heard. Even more unsettling, the famous bounty hunter Vex didn’t leave scars or bodies behind as expected, and people can’t agree whether that meant the militia was spared—or whether someone else was in control of the room.

A salvage crew uncovers a haunted cargo ship, a hidden Android, and a sudden hostile boarding
Word on the salvage circuit is that The Nighthawk came back with its systems “still listening,” even after the bridge went dead. Some swear the comms went quiet in a way that didn’t feel like damage—more like something had learned how to hide—because now even the logs come out with wrong phrases, like they’re echoing a mouthful of pain instead of recording facts. A few insist the Bratva-marked cargo is what drew it in, and that an orb-shaped absence in Cargo Bay 3 is proof enough; others only say “the fox” got named, and now the beacon keeps trying to point everyone toward the golden field without ever landing on the same story twice.

A salvage crew boards the Palantine and finds signs of something far stranger than a dead ship
Word on Prospero’s Dream is that the salvage run turned into something worse than corporate paperwork—quiet enough to make people uneasy, loud enough to make everyone argue. The crew coming back (or not quite coming back) is what’s scaring tongues: some say a heat-smelled mess in an embedded escape pod followed their wake, others claim the ship’s own core went “locked” in a way that felt personal, like it had been expecting them. They can’t agree on the terminals either—half swear the message about “don’t listen, don’t look, don’t breathe near it” was real and acted like a warning, the other half say it was planted to scare a union rep’s future out of someone’s hands. Even the union talk around Reidmar has gone strangely hush-hush, as if the Syndicate and Teamsters Local are both waiting to see who flinches first.
