1.3 Subscriptions & Payments: Optional premium features—such as the Storyteller subscription—are offered for a recurring fee. By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method on the schedule stated at checkout. You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds.

2. User Responsibilities

2.1 Conduct: You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited activities. This includes, but is not limited to: violating any local, state, national, or international law; harassing, threatening, or defaming others; and infringing the intellectual property rights of others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. If your subscription is terminated for cause, you are not entitled to a refund.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to its accuracy, reliability, or availability.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Realms of Shod and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data or use, arising from your use of the Service. Uploaded files—including audio recordings, images, and avatars—are not independently backed up and may be permanently unrecoverable in the event of data loss.

You agree to indemnify and hold Realms of Shod, its affiliates, and their employees harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the updated Terms on our website or via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
