Going Public
Creator Profiles
Your creator profile is your public portfolio: who you are, where to find you, and every realm you've published. You need one before any realm can go public.
In the H.U.B., open User Settings and find the Creator program section, then choose Create Profile. You can also start from a realm: the Publish realm setting in Configure Realm offers the same button if you don't have a profile yet.
Creator Name
Required. The name shown on your profile and credited on each of your public realms. It doesn't have to match your account name. Use your studio, stream, or GM persona if you like.
Profile Image
Required. Your avatar on the profile page, and the image used when your profile link is shared on Discord or social media.
Background Image
Optional. A banner shown behind your profile card.
Links
Optional. Any number of website or social links. Links to Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Patreon, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, Reddit, and X (Twitter) automatically get their matching icon; anything else gets a generic link icon.
Bio
Optional, up to 350 characters. Shown on your profile and used as its description in search results.
Once saved, a View Profile button appears in User Settings and opens your page at realmsofshod.com/creator/…. Anyone can view it, signed in or not.
About you
Your profile image, creator name, bio, and link icons.
Published Realms
A card for each of your public realms, most recently active first, showing its cover, title, session count, and when it was last played. Each card opens that realm's preview page. Private realms never appear, and the section is hidden until you publish your first realm.
Your profile never shows Compendium content. Entities, relationships, and notes stay inside your realms. What the public can see there is covered in Public Compendium.
Profiles with at least one public realm are listed in our sitemap for search engines. Changes to your profile can take a couple of minutes to appear on the public page.
Edit Profile
Return to User Settings at any time to update your name, images, links, or bio.
Delete Profile
Removes your public profile and makes every realm credited to it private in one step. This cannot be undone. Your realms, members, and audience are kept, but you will need a new profile to publish again.
