Session Rumors
Session rumors keep your story spoiler-safe for anyone who wasn't at the table. On a public realm, this one setting also decides how much of each session the internet can read.
The setting is Enable Non-Participant Session Rumors in Configure Realm, and it's on by default. While it's on, anyone who wasn't in a session sees a Session Rumor instead of its summary and transcripts: a short piece of in-world hearsay that hints at what happened without confirming who did what, where, or how it ended.
Session participants, realm admins, and the owner always see everything. You can also let specific people see a session in full from that session's edit form, under Choose which members can view this session.
When your realm is public, "anyone who wasn't in a session" includes your audience, signed-in guests, and the public preview page.

Keep rumors on
For mysteries, long-running campaigns with secrets, or any table where players would be upset to be spoiled. Your public page still has intriguing teasers to hook newcomers.
Turn rumors off
For actual-play shows, one-shots, and games you want people to catch up on. Guests can read the whole story, which is the strongest pitch for following along.
Turning rumors off opens full transcripts to every signed-in guest, not just your members.
Rumors are written from the whole session, including hidden entities. They are designed to stay vague, but read them if a secret matters.
Rumors only affect sessions. Compendium visibility is controlled separately by Public to Realm.
The setting applies to past sessions too, so switching it changes what is visible for your entire history.
